Adding Tracks to the Timeline
To add events to the Timeline, you first need to add the relevant tracks: ‘Record Video’ track or ‘Record Entity Positions’ track. Setting up and defining actual events is covered by Defining Record Video Events.
To add a Record Video track to the Timeline
- Right-click in the area
below the Playback toolbar and select
.
‘The Record Video Track Properties’ dialogue box is displayed. For instructions on defining these properties, see Setting the Properties of a Record Video Track. You may set these properties now or later.

Click OK.
A new track is added to the Timeline. If you wish to change the name of the track, double-click on this name so that it is highlighted, type a new name and press Enter.
To add a Record Entity Position track to the Timeline
- Right-click in the area
below the Playback toolbar and select

The ‘Record Entity Positions Track Properties’ dialogue box is displayed. For instructions on defining these properties, see Setting the Properties of a Record Entity Positions Track. You may set these properties now or later.

OK.
